Character Abilities

Being a Geomancer, Serio draws upon the forces of the world and manipulates them. This could involve shifting rock, causing lava seep, erupting geysers, accelerating plant growth etc. He draws his power from any naturally occuring force around him which could include the tension of a rock pushed against another rock (and by using this energy, he could cause a rock slide) or perhaps that of water eroding away its surroundings (creating high pressure streams of water). [Do you see how this form of geomancy works, now?]

Character History

Serio comes from a long line of Geomancers through the Chikara clan (Lit. Force Clan). He lived in a small village at the base of a mountain surrounded by forest and lake. Mountains are one of the greatest forces applied to geomancy and cause havoc if used wrongly. Serio's talent of Geomancy was found when a group of Rogue and Outcast Geomancers tried to destroy the whole village by crumbling the mountain itself. However, Serio was able to stop all three of the Rogues on his own by holding the forces together (A rare and extremely diffuclt skill for a geomancer who usually expels the forces) and stopping the mountain from being destroyed.

It was after this that Serio was renowned with great potential. He was taken away from the clan by a Master Geomancer, Iruko, who instructed him in the strict Arts of the skill as well as the type of martial arts that suited him. Somethign strange was found with him. In all other Geomancers, they generally have one elemental affinity which is commonly earth so they learn a certain type of Kung Fu. However, Iruko found he has three elemental affinities - Earth, Air and Water - so he tought him Kung fu [Earth], Tai Chi [Water] and Ba Gua [Air - Also known as Eight trigrams palm. Seriosly. It is.] Because of this diversibility he learnt many forms of Geomancy and grew to become a Master Geomancer fast.

Recently, he has come to Neldorin and travelled both through the void to Stormforce and back to visit an old friend Xervish Flydd who is also a Mancer but of a different form of the secret art.

This type of Geomancy is the interpreted form of The earth not just earth as in rocks. So Serio studies the workings of the earth, the forces within. Pressures building up in gas pockets, rocks being crushed etc and then using these forces to transfer into energy which in turn is transfered into an ability.
