The Void

The void is an almost undescribable place.
The void was, originally, a theory that where there is matter, there must also be anti-matter which is better known as empty space.
The void is not actually the 'Space' that the humans from the Earth know. Infact, you could think of it as A space but not Outer space. It is actually the space that occupies the space between the multiple dimensions and universes.

It is a dangerous place. Usually it is impossible to enter or exit which makes everyone relativly safe from the dangers within. For a start, monstrosities that constantly adapt themselves to the void are present. They are constantly getting stronger and stronger to fight eachother in it. It is also filled with dead planets and the remains of universes. Travelling into the void could be thought of as the easy part. Going through it is terrible.

The void has been known to tear the fabric of itself up. This creates rips in it - or gates as some people know them - which allows travel into the void. Rarely, another rip nearby will open up and link universes, dimensions or worlds together allowing for ease of access to each place (ease of access does not include what lies within the void).

Anyone can enter the Void but only the strongest will survive it.

It is a complex thing and not to be messed with. Some speculate that even the void has other voids that it is linked to and then other places that don't link to the void at all.

An example of worlds being linked is between Stormforce and Neldorin. The void had mysteriously ripped open and the worlds have commonly been travelled between by the most powerfullest of users sometimes escorting those less able to make the journey alone.
