The Future of Earth

This is set in the year 50069 also known as Warp-5. It is on earth and all humans are now an advanced species that have unlocked secrets of deep-space travel and beyond. All kinds of high tech weponary and gadgets exist to aid the humans.
Use your imagination as to what your character would have, do and be like. Think Cliché future. Use laser weaponry. Use teleporting pads. Use Nano Brain Scramblers. You be the creator.

At the moment, a crew of the Ship Barbara are exploring space and are about to explore a new planet, 167 lightyears away. Of course, we have already discovered travelling faster than the speed of light so we can get there relativly easy along with the use of worm holes. We have no idea what we may find on this planet X240 but we must explore it.

The characters are as follows.

Jack 'Echo' Mailard - The captain of the ship. He is a friendly figure but with a stead-fast, stern attitude. He isn't afraid to get those back into line.

Benjamin 'Sage' Johnson - Second in command. He likes the power and it often gets to his head. He respects Echo but tends to pick ont he others.

Natalia 'Viper' Fortesque - A woman with attitude. She is sly and loves to play her little 'games'.

Frankie 'Eagle' Turner - A young and new recruit to the team. He is unsecure and often gets under too much pressure and makes silly mistakes.

Echo was at the front of the ship, standing at the flight controls, fiddling with various levers and buttons. The oxygen levels were fun within the ship. The generator supplied them with a fresh supply by converting their CO2 that they breathed out back into lovely fresh Oxygen.
"Ok, we are close to X240. We are currently orbitting the outer atmosphere while everyone gets ready. Take whatever you need from the supply cupboards down below." He hit a button and a hatch on the floor slid open.

[Jordan]

Benjamin looked to Echo ''As you wish.''
Benjamin picked up a few tools and things, he then looked at the stars.
''We going to find this planet or what?''

[Josh]

[Try and call yourself Sage. Its like your crew name]

Echo smiled to himself and chuckled. "Look below us," he said and pressed another button which caused the walls of the ship to become transparent. Below them was a planet with red land and purple oceans. "We've already found it."

[Jordan]

[Sure! Have we foudn aliens yet?]

Sage took a few steps back amazed at this.
''Wait till they hear about this back at the station!''
Sage then looked closer at the texture in the coulors.
''This would be a time to test out are new all conditions space suits, dont ya think?''

[Josh]

[Aliens do not exist - they never did. There are alternate life forms but they aren't known as aliens anymore]

"Of course. I am detecting life forms on the surface so i suggest we take some sort of weaponry, just to be sure. We also don't know whether the atmosphere is dangerous so we'll peform a scan on that in just a minute." He replied.

[Jordan]

''Ok well im equiped with my weapons, would you like me to run the scan?''
Sage then slipped into his all tempature/weather condition space suit, and then put on the oxegen tank. This Oxegen tank had the most oxegen in then any other tank, apart from the others since thye all had the same amount of air.

[Josh]

[Anyone else wish to join?]

"Performing scans.... Now," said Echo as he touched a series of panels which began showing numbers and percents of the gases in the atmosphere. "It would appear it is a mainly Nitrogren atmosphere. Its about 69% Nitrogen 17% Oxygen and 4% of other gases. Its very close to our atmosphere"

''That is great,this shall be an easy Job exploring...''
Sage looked at the planet again.
''Should someone stay behind and watch the ship?''
