About the money system

What is the money system?

The money system is something we use for our Gold currency. It allows us to keep track of all our gold spenditure and earnings. It adds a whole new element to roleplaying.

How do we activate this?

You go to your profile and along the top in the white boxes where, if you hover your mouse over them, you will see lots of words like Friends and Foes or Character sheet. Character sheet is the one you want. Click on that and then you can edit things like your Character name, class and race. If you have multiple characters, you can just add one or all of them.
You will also see Gold. It's default value is 500 gold pieces. Now, we have trust in our forum members to not alter this to give themselves free gold. You will add to it and take away from it honestly. It will now be viewable under your name when you have posted on the forums. It should show up in yellow text.

How can we earn money?

You earn money through many things. It may be a trade you have done in the market or maybe you have earnt money through a quest or bounty.
It can also be lost though. This may be due to penalties of crime commitance or maybe you were mugged!

What if you have multiple characters?

That is a problem.
You have many choices. You can share your money or you just use one character for your money.
Or, if you can think of another way, tell me.

Answer:
Not very. Although we haven't really had much to use it for apart from Bounties, Quests and Events as well as the Healing spa to recharge your character's strength.

To be honest, and fucking flame me if you hate my opinion; it doesn't bother me, I think the forums have been changed to the point you're all overcomplicating it.

I know what you mean but most of the 'overcomplicated' things, as you call them, can be ignored in a way and people can just make a character and go on and roleplay.

I dont think the rules are overcomplicated. The gold system isnt so complicated either... so...

But, is there other ways to get gold? Would it be a problem if i for example said: "Demon Paw was continuing he's dangorous misson when he suddenly meet a man who needed he's help. (Then... bla bla bla. ). The man was so greatfull cause of the help Demon Paw gave, that the man handed over 50 pieces of gold too him"

Would that be forbidden? I mean, if you dont overdrive like:

" Then Demon Paw meet a rich man who gave him 5000 pieces of gold..."

Hmmm. I suppose that could work but we would need to find a way to stop people abusing this. Perhaps a set amount of times this can be used in a certain time period (e.g. once a fortnight) and a limit to how much can be given.

Yeah that sounds good But is there going to be a limit both for how much there can be given by quest and by NPC or what we are going to call it?

Hakke. I didn't mean it how you took it. I mean, in the beginning it was just pure, plain, fun Forum RP. Whereas now, they've tried to incorporate Gold systems, Health Systems.

I just mean, some people use them and some don't. It just adds more depth into the experience but it isn't essential that we use them.

Lol josh the health system has worked to an extent but the gold system people havent changed the gold because they cant be asked to do it.
