The Great Library

The great library is the biggest in existence within the world of Neldorin.
It houses an extensive amount of books on all information that you could need.
There is a myth that within here, a great secret lies. Of what the secret is, it is thought that only a select few know about it.
The Library-master is an elf that is rarely seen. Any race is free to come and go to the library to find whatever information is needed. Infact, anyone of any race, liked or not, may enter here without fear of being attacked. That is the fair way of conduct within the library. If anyone dares use any form of combat within the library, they will be in great peril, for some say the library has a mind of it's own and will protect its valuable pool of knowledge with great power. To most, it is even impossible to use magic within it. Any trace of combative magic that goes within the walls of the library is rendered useless. Many came here within the past to shelter from the war of the Lycan and throughout the Demon War, even though those races were allowed within the library walls aswell.

Xervish Flydd is casually scanning the bookshelves with no book in mind.
As he is looking he comes across a book entitled: Worldes and the Darke. Noticing this book, he takes it off of the shelf and notices that it is bound in a heavy chain. Knowing that the library will stop any combat magic and the fact that even the most talented struggle to do magic here, he searched through the vast expanses of his mind and selected a simple Lock incantation. He worded this aloud but it didn't work. Then he has an idea. He takes out a small silver crystal filled with the Art and places it in the lock. Shaping his first to fingers on each hand in a cross, he releases the power. The chains glow white and then unlock. He then finds a suitable seat and opens the book.

Xervish Hears loud footsteps slowly coming towards him it is King pheroe.Pheroe takes of his crown''What brings you hear old timer?''Pheroe picks up a random book of the shelf he reads the title It says ''The enchanted lake''(True story)''Hmmmm.....This will do How much do you reacon to keep this book?''

[Josh]

"Hmmm, What?" Xervish says, entranced by the book. "Oh, I don't know. I think you can only take certain books out of the library, and they are all for free"
Going back to his book he reads: The Darke is a mysteriouse and evile place. Thou shall not treade lightly there for one may finde oneself lost in a place of difference to their original place. Many places include Bermdueas and Neldorina. These are knowne as worldes. Travelle between worldes is dangerous but sometimes the Darke rips open and connects Worldes together, forever bounde in Time. Looking up from the book, he re reads it to Pheroe.

Pheroe looking surprised ''That book is a bit ironic'' Let me see that Pheroe takes it from xervish He begins to scanning the pages Untill he see's a few maps of citys countrys towns untill he gets to worlds ''Take a look at this''Pheroe points to the maps of both the worlds.

[Josh]

"Oh, very interesting." Looking at the map, he locates many of the places he knows of and many that used to be there. "Why i believe that this book is referring to the link between Neldorin and the island in Bermuda. No wonder this book was chained so heavily." He said. "But this book dates back to when i was a child and in all the times that i visited Neldorin, i had never seen the gate into the void, Unless... perhaps it was hidden somehow...."

[Jordan]

''Theres a theory''Pheroe is silent while thinking for a minute ''Dosent the legend have it that theirs a secret in this libary?''Pheroe puts his hand on the shelf ''Maybe this is to do with that?''

[Josh]

"Perhaps..." He said, deep in thought

[Jordan]

''What if we sherch the libary for some more clues?''

[Josh]

"I dont think the library will reveal its secrets that easily" Xervish said. Then he places his hands together, fingers locked around each of them. He sends his mind out in all directions but immediatly the Library puts up mental iron walls. It wasn't going to yield its secrets that easily.
He explained to Pheroe what happened. "Well, that won't work."

[Jordan]

''No i meen use are tactical physical side acctually look get all the books of the shelf if we have to''

[Josh]

"That would take far too long. I think we should study this book more." Xervish says. "I think we should go to the Elven Gathering. I will take this book with me. Hopefully, the library will allow it."
Because of the Magic Ban in the library he steps out of its doors and gestures for Pheroe to follow.
Calling upon a vast amount of power, he calls a portal into existance. As it appears, wind rushes from it. Through it can be seen the peaceful place of the Elven Gathering with the elves doing as they will. He steps through it and Pheroe Follows.

[Misa Misuya]

The Lone elf wonders into the Library, silently. She runs her hands along the book shelves. Energy running through her fingers while she scans the contents of each book using dark magic.
"Hmm...its not here..."

Ashizukai's body flickers into the darkest corner of the room, the puppets dragging along behind her body, gripping onto the strings, all with blazing eyes.
Ashizukai's red eyes sharply scanning the library. Her spirit energy connecting with the darkest thing in the library.
Simply lifting her claw, a huge smash of wind rams against the book cases, lifting her over claw, and slamming it to the side, they clear a path down the middle, allowing her to walk towards a book...
Small black crystals appearing where she stepped. The puppets jolting up as the snag on them, their eyes squinting at the slight pain they recieve each time, but ignoring their tiny crimson tears.
A Cold, icy substance rippling out from Ashizukai's Hood. Blood soaked into the white scarf like material around her body. Her boney back structure had a iron tint of blood clasping onto them too.
She lifts her claw once more, the bone which controls fire turns black, following, a jet black flame bursting out of her claw...out of the virus's mouth, which was also red eyed and covered by dark crystals...
She looks down at her claw, talking to the virus.
Her speech broken...corrupted.
"It...is time..."

[Josh]

The Library-Master [Possibility for a new character but temporary for now] watched all of this from a room deep within the tunnel that run under the library. He watched over the library through a looking glass, it's surface misted yet the pictures clear. So that is what they have come for? He mused.

[Misa Misuya]

The Puppets stood up swiftly, there small bladed arms dripping with blood. All chanting as they surrounded Ashizukai, protecting her from harm. They maybe small, but dangerous. Their strings shimmered in the candle light..Razor sharp Piano wire. Ouch.
The strings had a faint ruby glow to them.

Ashizukai extended her claws towards the book, the black frame dropping to the floor, crystals smashing around her, the flame blazing upwards, smashing through the ceiling.
She smirked.

"Easy come, easy go."
With a swift motion, she swiped the book out of its casing. The Virused hand endulging in the books power. Black crystals enfusing with it, almost naturally.
She looked down at them, tilting her head before glancing up at the open sky.
She twists her fingers towards the floor in a circluar motion.

[Josh]

The Library-Master sat and watched in darkness. He felt no emotion towards these events. Perhaps curiosity - these could be chronicled in the histories - but nothing else. It didn't concern him nor did it annoy him. Well, perhaps a little. The library would have to be cleared up, afterwards.

[Misa Misuya]

The virus merged with the book, revealing the books true nature. Red glowing worlds dripped down the front and spine of the cover.
"Doomsday"
From her hand which faced the floor, a huge burst of air swirled around her, catching into her cloaks, making her quite swiftly burst out the roof, leaving the great library in an enormous mess.
The black flames now turning back to orange.. The flame trailing along the spores which pathed its way amonst the wreckage of shelves...
A slight smell of burning was smelt from Ashi' as she made her leave.

[Josh]

And so it is done, he thought as he passed a hand over the looking glass, returning it to normal. He then twisted on the spot and appeared to fold inwards on himself with a swish of his robes. He reappeared in the library. He began dousing the flames with his magic and then repairing the destruction of the book cases. After a while, he had done that so he began reorganisising where the books went on the shelves. There was a gap from the missing book. The strange black crystals, however, wouldn't go no matter what knowledge he applied and he had a lot of knowledge - Living with books for more more than a life really fills your mind.

[Ashizukai left the scene, and moved to another, so did The library master. You're talking to yourself ;P]

First the book appeared; The Library-Master landed softly next to it.
He looked around at the vast Library, home to many books on almost every subject. He was the proud Chronicler that recorded the Histories within the library and looked after those that he didn't or has already been written. He knew every book from the inside out.


[Anyone want to come here and do a scene with Mr Library Master?]

[Josh]

He went to his study, deep in the labrynth under the Library. He opened up a book: Ashizukai - The Puppet master.
He flicked through the pages carefully, looking at the garbled entries. She couldn't be in her mind. The mind is what wrote the books. Only her mind can write the book. There must be some kind of disturbance, some kind of fluctuation disturbing the link.

[Josh]

He closed the book and set it aside. He got up and paced around the small room, frustrated. He thought back a long time. Nothing in any of the histories had happened like this before. He slumped down against the wall. He placed his hands together - almost as if in prayer - and placed the tips against his forehead. The red mark on his forehead glew and he scryed out Ashizukai. He watched her, examined her. There wasn't something quite right about her.
He got up off the floor and walked over to a very thick book, bound in chains. His book. The history and secrets of his life.

Pheroe walked into the libariy looking at many books wondering how he got here.
