Xervish Flydd used to keep his hair short and tidy. However, due to the time he was captured and imprisoned - when his old name, Yoshimoto, was cursed - he didn't have the time or facilities to do it. 'It's easier to keep it like this,' he says. He also commented how he likes the way it flows and sways when he is using powerful magic - unverified fact.

The Spirit Wolf.

Xervish had always been interested in the Spiritual Forms. From a young age, he tried to converse with them and even draw them out of the Spirit Realm. Most spirits shied away, some became angry and fought back. However, one spirit made a bond with him. The Wolf.
The Wolf Spirit was an outcast from his pack, desperate, lost and alone. He regulary visited Xervish as often as he could, mainly in dreams when the mind is at it's most vulnerable point. It whispered to him, persuaded him and even begged him to release him from the Spirit Realm. However, there was a catch - it had to find a physical body to reside within otherwise it would still be lost and roaming around for milenia.
Xervish, out of pity and curiosty, eventually accepted and began the Rite of the Passing which allows a Spirit to become free and anchor itself into the nearest willing, capable body.
After three painstaking days - the time it took for the Rite to complete - it worked and the Blue spirit eased it's way out of the walls of the Spirit Realm and combined with Xervish's White Spirit in the air. They joined and formed a golden, bonded spirit.

It was, through this, that Xervish became Wolf and Wolf became Xervish.

Xervish once attended the Opening of Spring - A traditional elven festival for those on Neldorin. He did, indeed, dance with a pixie.

Xervish and Kal'thri

Xervish has infact got a relationship with an elven woman, Kal'thri. They have been together for a long time (roughly 526 years) but for about 30 years, Kal'thri has been away on an unspecified mission, hence why Yip-Lee has never known about her.
They met during a Conclave (a meeting held in secret) which was attacked. They defended off the attack and even saved eachother's lives multiple times. Alas, the leaders of the Conclave were killed so the odds were against them. However, they prevailed in the onslaught.
Since then, they became friends, more than friends and eventually lovers.
